His deep understanding of the aviation industry is further solidified by his academic background in aviation engineering, business management, and crisis management. Moreover, his extensive piloting experience on various aircraft types, coupled with his active involvement in pilot training, highlights his comprehensive skillset and dedication to fostering the next generation of aviation professionals.

His unique combination of leadership, industry knowledge, and piloting expertise makes him a valuable asset to any organization in the aviation sector.

András POSGAI

András POSGAI

Business Development and Operations Manager (Information Security Manager)

With a distinguished 30-year career in the Hungarian Defence Forces (HDF), he brings a wealth of leadership experience and strategic thinking to the mate.aero board. Having served as a Cavalry officer, he ascended through the ranks, holding various command positions including  Aide-de-Camp to the Hungarian Minister of Defence. Notably, he served as the Defence, Military, and Air Attaché at the Hungarian Embassy in Paris from 2016 to 2021.

He retired from the HDF in 2022 as a Lieutenant Colonel. He then transitioned his skills to the private sector, leveraging his negotiation and international partnership expertise at one of Hungary’s leading building machinery wholesalers. There, he played a key role in developing the company’s business strategy and preparing contracts with foreign partners.

He joined the board of mate.aero in July 2024.

Nikoletta BÖLE

Nikoletta BÖLE

Financial Manager

She began her career in the banking industry, where she gained valuable experience in both retail and corporate banking. She later specialized in SME financing, leveraging her expertise to support businesses. After pursuing further studies in accounting, she transitioned into a role in finance and accounting.

A passionate aviation enthusiast, she is currently undergoing flight training to fulfill her dream of taking to the skies.

Zsolt HIRIPI

Flight Support and Safety Manager

He brings a wealth of experience in the aviation industry to his new role at mate.aero, having joined the start-up team in June 2024.

Early Career and Airline Operations:

  • Late 1980s: Began his career in aviation as a Flight Operation Officer for MALÉV ground handling.
  • Subsequent Roles: Gained valuable experience as a Duty Officer for various airlines, including AviaExpress, British Airways, and Olympic Airways.

Establishing New Infrastructure and Security Systems:

  • Played a pivotal role in setting up SkyEurope’s home base and regional stations.
  • Contributed to the creation of a new self-handling company, demonstrating a strong understanding of operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated expertise in security protocols by contributing to the development of security systems for the companies he worked with.

Leadership and Management:

  • Advanced to the position of Terminal Manager and Airport Operations Duty Officer at BUD A/P, showcasing strong leadership and operational management skills.

Joining mate.aero:

  • June 2024: Seized the opportunity to join the dynamic and innovative team at mate.aero, bringing his extensive knowledge and experience to support the company’s growth.

His diverse background in airline operations, ground handling, and airport management positions him well to make a significant contribution to mate.aero‘s success.

Ágnes MIKEI

Ágnes MIKEI

Head of Coordination and Facility Operations Office

Highly experienced VIP Flight Attendant with 30+ years in aviation, amassing over 15,000 flight hours.

Proven track record in commercial and corporate aviation, serving as Purser for renowned airlines such as MALÉV Hungarian Airlines, Smartwings, and Small Planet Airlines Germany. She is also a seasoned Purser and Line Trainer with 4 years of experience in the Hungarian Air Force.

Possessing a deep understanding of luxury travel and VIP services, coupled with a strong educational foundation in economics (Budapest Business University) and language proficiency (French Translator and Interpreter, Eötvös Loránd University).

Tibor ZENTAI

Tibor ZENTAI

Chief of Flight Support and Training Department

For many years, he has cultivated a distinguished career in the aviation industry, acquiring a wealth of international experience and certifications that have positioned him as one of Hungary’s most respected specialists in the field.

His journey began with MALÉV Hungarian Airlines, where he held a CAA-issued certificate. This provided him with a valuable foundation and the opportunity to delve into DCS systems through his studies at SITA Base in Atlanta.

Transitioning to Lufthansa further enriched his expertise. He actively participated in Station Operations at Budapest and Moscow airports, and even had the opportunity to serve as an OPS Officer at Brussels Airport (BRU A/P).

His dedication to continuous learning is further evidenced by his accomplishments as an instructor. He successfully graduated as a Load Control instructor and conducted On-the-Job Training (OJT) for Cargolux Freighters at Luxembourg Airport (LUX A/P). Notably, he also holds the highest level 6 certification in the DG (Dangerous Goods) exam.

In June 2024, he embarked on a new chapter with mate.aero, bringing his extensive knowledge and expertise to further propel their success.

András Farkas SZABADOS

Navigation and Dispatch Officer

From a young age, a keen interest in aviation has demonstrably shaped his life and career trajectory.

His aviation journey commenced in April 2003 as a Flight Operations Officer with the esteemed Hungarian airline, Malév.

Throughout his career, he has honed his expertise and skillset by holding various positions with both Hungarian and international airlines. These roles encompassed Airport Operations Manager (Budapest Airport Zrt.), Navigation Officer (LOT Polish Airlines), and Ground Handling (Swissport Losch).

He consistently demonstrates a capacity for generating innovative and efficient solutions in the workplace.

An individual driven by ambition, his extensive professional experience undoubtedly contributes to the company’s success and positions him well for future advancement.

He joined mate.aero in December 2024, embracing the opportunity to tackle new challenges and assume greater responsibility, qualities that align perfectly with our Company’s emphasis on intellectual effort, punctuality, and precision.

András Botond NAGY

Flight Support Operations Manager

Having earned a qualification as a Public Administration Manager, he dedicated fifteen years to local administration, holding a prominent leadership position. It was during this tenure that he first encountered aviation at Börgönd Airport. His frequent attendance at Börgönd air shows, coupled with a burgeoning passion for flight, inspired him to pursue opportunities at Budapest Airport. In 2021, he successfully transitioned to the Airport Operations Control Center as an Airport Operations Controller. Beyond the routine management of daily airport operations, he contributed to numerous high-profile events, including the 2023 UEFA Europa League final, the Papal Visit, and the 2024 Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

In February 2025, he joined mate.aero, seeking to leverage his accumulated aviation experience and contribute his expertise to the company’s continued success.
